About Us
Our Story
We began our own farm back in 2014 to add to Brittany's father 's certified organic dairy products he sold at the market. Brittany grew up on the dairy and her world was all about the cows. But, Jason, who gardened with his Father, was passionate about produce. He decided to follow Brittany's grandfathers example and name the farm after Brittany and that is how the name "Farmer's Daughter Organics" came about. Since then, a lot of things have changed, the dairy is gone, but Jason has turned Brittany into a dirt dweller and we both are passionate about growing all kinds of produce!
Farming has always been our dream! Since our start, we have had 2 little boys and during this time we had to put them, as small children in the forefront. But, now that they are older, we are revamping and are following our dreams of providing for our family off the family land - continuing a tradition of over 6 generations!
We purchased Brittany's Aunt and Uncles farm (Keeper Creek Farm) and that land was Brittany's great Grandfathers where Brittany's Granny and her many siblings grew a variety of produce and truck farmed to feed their family. We are so excited to continue the tradition started by our families, continued by my aunt and uncle through the U-Pic berry farm, and now shared with our children! We are constantly changing and growing so please do let us know if there is something you wish we would grow!

Our Practices
"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.”
— Corinthians 3:6-7
We believe that the earth is a precious gift. After all that taking care of the land was the primary job of Adam & Eve in Bible and thus points to its importance, and we want to take care of this gift as best we can! That means that we try our BEST to maximize our property, rotating crops, succession planting, companion planting, using cover crops, etc. We choose to grow our produce organically. This means that there will be more weeds, more bugs etc during certain times of the year and we try to mitigate that by using growing strategies inside our high tunnels, cardboard beds with organic soil beds on top, and lots and lots of adding work. We do not knock other farms for growing differently. This is how we choose to do it. We hope to connect with customers who also value this and will appreciate what we do and how we do it.
